This Privacy Policy explains how Gym Notes ("we", "us", the "app") handles information when you use our mobile apps (Android and iOS) and website at gym.notes.fitness. We designed Gym Notes to keep your training data on your own device — we do not run accounts or servers that store your workouts.

Summary

• Your workout data (plans, exercises, sets, weights, history) is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded to us.
• We do not require an account and do not ask for your name.
• We use third-party services for advertising, analytics, and (on the website) an optional email sign-up. These may collect limited data as described below.
• The Remove Ads subscription disables advertising in the mobile apps.

Information We Collect

Workout data (stored on your device)

All the training information you enter — plans, exercises, sets, reps, weights, rest times, streaks, and workout history — is saved locally on your device. It is not transmitted to us and we cannot access it. Uninstalling the app removes this data.

Advertising

Gym Notes is free and supported by ads unless you subscribe to Remove Ads.

• Mobile apps: We show interstitial ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve and measure ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Website: We serve ads through Google AdSense, which may use cookies and similar technologies to personalise and measure ads.

Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate, anonymous usage (such as page views and general location by region). This helps us improve the site. Google Analytics may set cookies and process usage data on our behalf.

Email sign-up (website only)

If you choose to enter your email address to be notified about updates, we store that email address solely to contact you about Gym Notes. You can ask us to remove it at any time (see Contact below). Providing your email is entirely optional.

Purchases

The optional Remove Ads subscription is processed by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. Subscription status is stored locally on your device. Please refer to the relevant store's privacy policy for how they handle payment information.

How We Use Information

• To provide and operate the app and website.
• To display advertising and measure its performance (unless Remove Ads is active).
• To understand aggregate usage and improve the product.
• To send you update emails if you opted in.

Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by the third-party service providers named above (Google AdMob, Google AdSense, Google Analytics, and the app stores) strictly to provide their services. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

Your Choices

• Ads: Subscribe to Remove Ads to disable advertising in the mobile apps. You can also reset your advertising identifier in your device settings.
• Analytics & cookies: You can use browser controls or the Google Analytics Opt-out to limit web analytics.
• Local data: Uninstalling the app deletes your workout data from your device.
• Email: Contact us to have your email address removed from our update list.

Children's Privacy

Gym Notes is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Data Security

Because your training data stays on your device, its security depends on your device's own protections. We take reasonable steps to protect any limited information handled by our website.
